PAYMENT TERMS & REFUND POLICY

 

ALL PAYMENTS MADE TO GUARDIAN MUSLIM MARRIAGE ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE, REGARDLESS OF THE REASON OR CIRCUMSTANCES. NO USER SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND, REVERSAL, OR CREDIT FOR ANY PAYMENT MADE, EXCEPT IN THE EVENT OF A PROVEN AND DOCUMENTED ERROR SOLELY ATTRIBUTABLE TO GUARDIAN MUSLIM MARRIAGE.

 

1. 1. GENERAL TERMS OF PAYMENT

 

ALI.T INVESTMENTS LLC (“Guardian Muslim Marriage”, “we”, “us”, “our”) may, from time to time and at its sole discretion, offer products, services, or digital content that are available for purchase within the platform, application, or associated website (each an “In-App Purchase” or “Subscription Service”). If you choose to make an In-App Purchase or subscribe to any of our Premium Services, you acknowledge and expressly agree that additional terms and conditions, as disclosed to you at the time of purchase, may apply. These additional terms, where applicable, shall be deemed incorporated into this Payment Terms section by reference.

By proceeding with an In-App Purchase, you authorize Guardian Muslim Marriage to charge your selected payment method (“Payment Method”) for the applicable fees and any applicable taxes. Your Payment Method may include, but is not limited to:

 

• a third-party digital store such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (“Third-Party Store”);

• a credit or debit card; or

• any other payment mechanism accepted by Guardian Muslim Marriage at the time of the transaction.

 

If payment is not successfully settled due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, you acknowledge and agree that Guardian Muslim Marriage may, at its discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the Premium Services until full payment has been received.

 

2. 2. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND AUTO-RENEWAL

 

Certain features or content offered by Guardian Muslim Marriage may be made available through automatically renewing subscription services (each a “Subscription Plan”). By subscribing to the Subscription Plan, users expressly acknowledge and agree that for each match purchased, Guardian Muslim Marriage has up to one hundred and twenty one (120) days to deliver the match. Users further agree to comply with all Guardian Muslim Marriage processes and requirements as a condition of their subscription. Subscription Plans may be available in varying durations determined at Guardian Muslim Marriage’s sole discretion (each a “Billing Cycle”).

 

IF YOU ENROLL IN A SUBSCRIPTION PLAN, YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW AT THE END OF EACH BILLING CYCLE UNLESS AND UNTIL YOU CANCEL IT. UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE, YOUR SELECTED PAYMENT METHOD WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE RENEWAL PERIOD AT THE THEN-APPLICABLE RATE FOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PLAN, WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL ACTION BY YOU.

 

By enrolling in a Subscription Plan, you acknowledge and accept that your subscription will continue indefinitely on a recurring basis, and you expressly authorize Guardian Muslim Marriage (or its designated payment processor) to automatically charge your Payment Method for all applicable renewal fees unless and until you cancel your subscription in accordance with Clause 3 below. Changes to pricing, if any, will be communicated in advance, and by continuing to use the Subscription Plan, you accept the revised rates.

 

3. 3. CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

 

To cancel your subscription and avoid further charges, you must do so at least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of your current Billing Cycle. Deleting your account, removing the application from your device, or ceasing to use the services will NOT automatically cancel your subscription.

 

• For subscriptions purchased directly through Guardian Muslim Marriage: You may cancel by navigating to your payment settings under your profile and selecting the cancellation option.
• For subscriptions purchased through Third-Party Stores (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, etc.): You must manage and cancel your subscription directly through the Third-Party Store where you made the purchase. Cancellation processes may vary, and Guardian Muslim Marriage does not have the ability to manage subscriptions made through third-party platforms and as such will not be liable for it.

 

Upon successful cancellation, you will retain access to the Premium Services until the end of the Billing Cycle you last paid for, after which your access will be discontinued. No refunds or credits will be provided for unused portions of a subscription period.

 

4. 4. NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENTS POLICY

 

All charges and payments made for In-App Purchases, including but not limited to Subscription Plans, Premium Services, and other digital goods, are non-refundable and non-transferable.

By purchasing any Premium Service, you expressly acknowledge and agree that all payments are final, and Guardian Muslim Marriage is not obligated to issue refunds or credits for unused periods, changes of mind, dissatisfaction with the service, or any other reasons.

Refunds will NOT be provided for:

 

• Partial use of a subscription or feature; 
• Failure to cancel before renewal; 
• Unused services or missed promotional offers; and/or
• Being blocked, banned, or otherwise restricted from the platform due to a violation of Guardian Muslim Marriage’s Terms of Service and/or any other policies, notices, agreements or statements.

 

5. 5. REFUNDS WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW

 

Notwithstanding the above, certain jurisdictions provide statutory refund rights that override our non-refundable policy. If you reside in one of the following jurisdictions, you may be entitled to a refund under specific conditions:

 

• European Union (EU) Member States: Consumers may cancel their subscription and request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase (the “cooling-off period”), provided they have not used the service during this time.
• United Kingdom: Similar to EU regulations, United Kingdom consumers have fourteen (14) days to cancel and request a refund unless they have accessed the service.
• California, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin (United States): If you reside in one of these states, you may cancel your subscription without penalty within three (3) business days after purchase and receive a full refund.

 

To request a refund where applicable by law, users must submit a request in writing to Guardian Muslim Marriage’s support team, including proof of purchase and the reason for the refund request. Refunds, where granted, will be issued to the original Payment Method within a reasonable processing time.

 

6. 6. TAXES AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES

 

All payments made under these Payment Terms are exclusive of applicable sales taxes, value-added taxes, goods and services taxes, or any other similar charges (“Sales Taxes”). Where required by law, Guardian Muslim Marriage will collect Sales Taxes at the applicable rate and add them to the total purchase amount. If you are required by law to withhold taxes, you agree to pay the additional amount necessary to ensure that Guardian Muslim Marriage receives the full amount due after such withholding.

 

You acknowledge that tax laws vary by jurisdiction and that you remain solely responsible for any taxes that are not collected by Guardian Muslim Marriage but are nonetheless due under applicable law.

 

7. 7. CHANGES TO PAYMENT TERMS

 

Guardian Muslim Marriage reserves the right to modify, amend, or otherwise update these Payment Terms at any time, without prior notice, at its sole discretion. Any changes will become effective upon posting the updated terms within the application or on the website. Your continued use of the Subscription Services following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Payment Terms. If you do not agree with the modifications, you must discontinue your use of our services and cancel any active subscriptions.

 

8. 8. VIRTUAL ITEMS

 

From time to time, you may have the opportunity to purchase a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use or access special limited-use features within our platform. These features may include, but are not limited to, credits redeemable on Virtual Items such as premium messaging, boosts, profile enhancements, or other interactive elements (collectively referred to as the “Virtual Items”). Virtual Items are solely for use within Guardian Muslim Marriage’s platform and have no monetary or real-world value.

 

Virtual Items are governed by this Agreement, and, except as prohibited by applicable law, no title or ownership in or to Virtual Items is transferred or assigned to you. This Agreement should not be construed as a sale of any rights in Virtual Items, but rather as a limited grant of rights to access and use such items within the parameters defined by Guardian Muslim Marriage.

 

Any Virtual Item balance shown in your account does not constitute a real-world balance, nor does it reflect any stored value. Instead, it serves solely as a measurement of the extent of your limited license. Virtual Items do not incur fees for non-use. However, the license granted to you in Virtual Items will terminate in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, including but not limited to instances where Guardian Muslim Marriage ceases providing services, or your account is closed or terminated, whether voluntarily or involuntarily.

 

Guardian Muslim Marriage reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to charge fees for the right to access or use Virtual Items and may distribute Virtual Items with or without charge. Furthermore, Guardian Muslim Marriage may manage, regulate, control, modify, or eliminate Virtual Items at any time, including taking actions that may impact their perceived value or purchase price, without any liability to you. You acknowledge that Guardian Muslim Marriage is not obligated to provide refunds, monetary compensation, or other remuneration for unused Virtual Items when your account is closed, suspended, or terminated.

 

The transfer of Virtual Items is strictly prohibited. You shall not sell, trade, exchange, gift, or otherwise transfer Virtual Items to any person or entity. Virtual Items may only be redeemed through our platform and may not be exchanged for real-world currency or goods.

 

ALL PURCHASES AND REDEMPTIONS OF VIRTUAL ITEMS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. GUARDIAN MUSLIM MARRIAGE IS NOT REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A REFUND FOR ANY REASON, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

 

9. 9. NON-COMPLIANCE WITH GUIDED MATCHMAKING PROCESS

 

You acknowledge and agree that your participation in the matchmaking services provided by Guardian Muslim Marriage is subject to strict adherence to the structured matchmaking framework prescribed by the platform (the “Guided Matchmaking Process”), which may be revised, amended, or updated from time to time at the sole discretion of Guardian Muslim Marriage. You shall not, under any circumstances, directly exchange or disclose personal contact information, including but not limited to telephone numbers, social media handles, email addresses, or any other means of direct communication, to any other user outside the prescribed protocol. Direct contact information may only be shared through your registered Guardian or family member and solely upon successful completion of the fifth step of the Guided Matchmaking Process.

 

Any act or attempt to circumvent, bypass, or otherwise interfere with the platform’s security measures, including but not limited to algorithmic and AI-based safeguards designed to prevent the unauthorised exchange of direct contact details, shall constitute a material breach of these terms. If you are found to be in violation of this provision, Guardian Muslim Marriage, at its sole and absolute discretion, may, inter alia, issue warnings, remove you from matchmaking, suspend, or permanently terminate your account without prior notice.

 

For the avoidance of doubt, if you are removed, unmatched, or otherwise restricted from the platform due to non-compliance with this Clause 9, you shall not be entitled to any refund, reimbursement, or credit for any payments made towards Subscription Plans, Premium Services, or other digital content, regardless of any remaining subscription period or unused access to services.

If you do not agree with the updated terms, your sole remedy is to cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
